 We put on our lamps and head down the dark corridor, slick with the blood of savages.  It leads down about 50 or a 100 yards into the mountain and down.  Its a great underground complex!

+The good DoctorGrant treats the wounded.  He bandages my wounds and I feel good as new.
+RachelRoss I go up on the platform and start to look through the doorways.  In a middle room, we find lots of bones.  Mix of animal bones, Martian, etc.  They look gnawed.  Some of the bones have been broken and the marrow removed.  Looking around a little more, we find a couple of those dirty nests.  An ancient sarcophagus has been broken open and is empty.  We find another similar room to the north.  More rooms.  One contains beer urns (unfortunately empty).
+We also find one of the openings leads to a hallway to the east.  It opens to another large room.  We are on a platform on the west side of the room (along with a large fallen statue).  There is an exit to the north.  AlinaBrowning examines the statue. She thinks the statue predates the modern Martian civilization, and is dedicated to the Ancients.
+I move to the lower portion of the room, covering the northern exit with my rifle.  I advance, and find a room to the north, with three pillars towards the south where I enter, and an exit on the north wall, in the northwest corner.  There  is an edge where the pillars are (but no stairs or ladders).  It appears to be an empty pool?
+I go to wrap a rope around the central pillar to lower a rope down, but I notice a small door in the south wall, against the east wall.  I go and check it out first.  There is a room full of Savages.
