I throw a couple of stones down the corridor. Nothing for a bit, then several shaggy forms scurry down the corridor towards us.

Fight the Savages

1. Round
   1. RachelRoss runs up on them, swings and misses.
   2. Savages (8)
      1. 2 attack RachelRoss
   3. AlinaBrowning misses.
   4. MichelStMarie shoots one, wounding it.
   5. I shoot one.
2. Round
   1. I shoot and slash one (miss and no real effect)
   2. Savages
      1. 3 Attack RachelRoss, doing some unfortunate damage
      2. 3 Attack me
      3. 1 attacks MichelStMarie, shaking him
      4. 1 attacks AlinaBrowning, but trips and is shaken.
   3. DoctorGrant shoots with his fancy revolving pistola, and misses.
   4. RachelRoss recovers and punches one of them.
   5. MichelStMarie misses
   6. AlinaBrowning shoots and hits one.
3. Round
   1. MichelStMarie misses with his pistol.
   2. DoctorGrant shoots wild again.
   3. ElizabethWhite does not know what to do
   4. Rachel Ross punches one, shaking it.
   5. Savages
      1. One recovers and misses RachelRoss
      2. 3 Attack me. I manage to soak the damage. Slipper Devil :)
   6. AlinaBrowning grazes one with her pistol.
   7. ElizabethWhite shoots the one on the ground, blowing it's head off with her shotgun

   1. DoctorGrant ??
   2. Savages
      1. Attack RachelRoss and wounds her
      2. Several attack me. One scratches me.
   3. MichelStMarie shoots at the one on RachelRoss, killing him.
   4. I shoot and kill one of the ones on RachelRoss
   5. ElizabethWhite holds (shotgun into melee no bueno)
   6. RachelRoss backs away, defending herself.
      1. As she backs away, the savage tries to hit him, but misses
   7. AlinaBrowning kills one of the ones on me.
   8. ElizabethWhite kilss the one that was attacking RachelRoss with her shotgun
5. Round
   1. AlinaBrowning shoots at one of ones I'm fighting (the last 2), shaking it
   2. I hack at that one, and kill him.
   3. RachelRoss ??
   4. MichelStMarie misses.
   5. DoctorGrant shoots the last one, wounding him.
   6. ElizabethWhite finishes the last one off.

DoctorGrant runs up to RachelRoss and tends to her wounds. He has a little bit of bother, but at least stops the bleeding.

The “Savages” appear to be mutated Martians! DoctorGrant says they may have been citizens of Bordobaar at one time.

We put on our lamps and head down the dark corridor, slick with the blood of savages. It leads down about 50 or a 100 yards into the mountain and down. Its a great underground complex!

We come to a large room with stairs on the right up to a raised platform with several openings to other rooms. There are three pillars along the edge of the platform. At the far end of the room is a wide opening (24 feet). We hear screams as more BeastMen stream into the room through the far archway, and a few flood out onto the high platform to our right.

More Savages

1. Round
   1. RachelRoss kills one of the ones on the platform
   2. I shoot at the other, killing it.
   3. Savages
      1. They race across the room and attack! They are remarkably swift!
      2. A few attack me. A couple miss, but the last one hit me good, but I shake it off.
      3. RachelRoss is shaken as one almost gets a hold of her. She recovers.
      4. AlinaBrowning almost gets hit.
      5. They miss MichelStMarie.
   4. MichelStMarie shoots one, killing it.
   5. ElizabethWhite shoots one in the face, killing it.
   6. AlinaBrowning shoots the one between us (on my right flank), shaking it.
   7. DoctorGrant ??
2. Round
   1. Savages
      1. One of the slips and falls.
      2. A couple attack me. One hits me, but my Good British Helmet saves me.
      3. We can hear more of them coming!
   2. AlinaBrowning kills the one between us. Quite the shot!
   3. RachelRoss stabs one with her bayonet and kills it.
   4. MichelStMarie kills another.
   5. I pull my sword and kill the last one on me.
   6. DoctorGrant shoots one.
   7. ElisabethWhite shoots, almost hits MichelStMarie, but manages to kill the savage instead
