Leaving this evil place
I am grateful to leave the castle where torture is practiced so freely.
AmbrosioTornelli comes to me with doubts. He thinks things may be beyond god. I council with the story of Genesis, showing that God has created all and it is the devil that has created corruption. He seems dissatisfied as he leaves. I fear for his soul.
We head through Transylvania into Wallachia.
A seller of Games and Fortunes
A couple of days later, we come across a Gypsy selling games and fortunes. AmbrosioTornelli asks for his fortune.
He also sells us several potions (invisibility to evil and poison antidote). I can see they have power, but not their exact nature.
FilippoTarantino rides back and asks his fortune. He comes back silent and thoughtful.
Stella Maria's Birthday
We eventually (a week or so later) come to a city. Many light skinned, blond people.
It is StellaMaria's birthday. We all go shopping for different things. I have made a painting of her favorite cat.
GiucamoTarantino is recognized on the street by a fellow duelist. They want a rematch. Gustav follows him back to us, pressing for a duel. FilippoTarantino shoos him away.
A Visit to the Brothel
Conversation with the Ranger
We talk with the ranger we found. He tells us we must visit GlaviochikMonastery on the night of the next new moon. There a carriage from ProsperoTepes will be sent for us.
Glaviochik Monastery
We arrive at the Monastery. We have about 8 days. We spend time praying and resting our minds.
We pay a Perpetuity for the monastery to watch over the evil sword we found.
The Midnight Carriage
The carriage can carry 6 people. However, we are magically able to clown car in everyone (13 people and gear).
We all find strange invitations to a Masquerade. We arrive somewhere and our clothes have changed. We are greatly disturbed.
The Masquerade at Prospero Hall
We arrive at Prospero Hall. It is a rich marble building.
The butler directs us to the Blue Room.
A man approaches us. He insults us (calls our costumes common).
Long, boring dinner party. Quite creepy, really. Oh, and everyone thinks we are speaking Romanian but they seem to be speaking Italian. They think it's January (our sister's birthday is in July). It is snowing outside. Why do they say the year is 1895?
