+From New York.  Jewish.  Gambler.  Running from some legal trouble.  He was always looking at a book, and keeping it hidden.
+My story: I owe Elias a debt and I need to go through his things to find the deed to settle the debt.
+PierreLaFontaine charges his remaining rent ($20) and gives me everything.
+We inspect his things in my room.
