Meanwhile, a asian comes in on a steam wagon.  The Marshal takes a disliking to him (Snakeoil!).  Smashing the stock.  The deputies beat the man up.

TheColonel asks a question but the Sheriff tells him to mind his own business. 

QuiLongWang Asks if there is a problem.
Sheriff is belligerent.

Small dicks are mentioned.

EmmaSchneider gets a letter from SilasWanamaker (mayor of SundownTown).  He wants our help.  Want's to meet outside town.  At the Wanamaker Mansion.

We go to see the Mayor.

I do some gambling.  Hear some rumors.  I tell them to TheColonel.

From New York.  Jewish.  Gambler.  Running from some legal trouble.  He was always looking at a book, and keeping it hidden.

My story: I owe Elias a debt and I need to go through his things to find the deed to settle the debt.

PierreLaFontaine charges his remaining rent ($20) and gives me everything.

We inspect his things in my room.

  * Book (Hoyles Games)
  * Well worn deck of cards.
  * Derringer with 12 rounds

We go to the Wanamaker Mansion.

Refreshments. Only some of us play.  Servants seem surly (it's the deputies).

We play until midnight.  Nothing really strange happens.  Although I think Mr. Silas is a better player than he lets on.
