====== Add Map to Page ====== ====== Add Map to Page ======
 +  - Notes
+    - Supported Formats jpg, gif, & png
+    - Max file size is 5 mb for free, 10 mb for pro and plus.  If too big, jpg can often compress well without noticeable issues because most maps have simple data.
+    - Best to match map cells to page cells (or have more page cells in each direction)
+    - To line up easily, make sure upper right corner of map is "on the grid"; i.e. the border should be a multiple of cell size.
   - Export map at 70 pixels/cell   - Export map at 70 pixels/cell
-  - Note: It works best if map cells match page cells exactly (i.e., if page is 20 x 20, map should be 20 x 20 cells and 1400 x 1400 pixels).  If map is premade, set the page to a number of cells equal or larger than then picture.
-  - Note: The upper right corner should be "on the grid" for the map (i.e., if the cells are 70 pixels, the border should be a multiple of 70).
   - Upload map to Library (into folder for campaign/adventure)   - Upload map to Library (into folder for campaign/adventure)

   - Drag map from Library to Page   - Drag map from Library to Page
   - Right Click > Advanced > Set Dimensions and set to match the original map   - Right Click > Advanced > Set Dimensions and set to match the original map
+    - If the cell size does not match (i.e., a map with 50 pixels/cell), set dimensions to scale to 70 pixels/cell.  Given a 100x100 cell 50 pixel/cell map (5000x5000) image size, set the dimensions to 7000x7000.
   - Grab the map and drag until upper right corner is close to the page upper right.  It will snap to the grid in the right place   - Grab the map and drag until upper right corner is close to the page upper right.  It will snap to the grid in the right place
