====== Sausage and Vegetable Skillet ====== {{tag>Recipe Carne LowCarb 5}} | 2 | Servings | ^ Qty ^ Unit ^ Ingredient ^ | 2 | ea | Italian Sausage | | 2 | cup | Shredded Cabbage (100 g) | | 1 | cup | Grape Tomatoes (200 g) | | 1 | med | Yellow crookneck squash (230 g) | | 1 | med | Red Onion (190 g whole) | | 4 | ea | Green onions | | 1 | ea | Garlic clove (to taste) | | ⅓ | cup | Green Harrisa Paste | - Prep - Dry the sausage - Shred the cabbage - Cut grape tomatoes in half - Cut the squash into bite size pieces - Cut the onion into large pieces - Cut the green onions into rings - Mince the garlic - Cook - Cook the sausage for about 8 minutes, turning once and set aside to rest - Char the tomatoes for about 2 minutes, until soft, then set aside - Slice the sausage into rounds - Char the onions and cook until soft - Add back the tomatoes - Add the cabbage, squash, and minced garlic and cook for a couple of minutes - Add the sausage and cover pot. Steam for a couple minutes until the sausage is cooked. - Service - Sprinkle green onions and harissa on top.
