Black Bean Sloppy Joes
| Qty | Unit | Ingredient |
| 1 | cup | Black Beans |
| ¼ | cup | Choppped Shallots |
| 1 | ea | Garlic clove |
| ⅓ | cup | Diced green chilis |
| 1½ | cup | Crushed Tomatoes |
| 1 | tbsp | Tomato Paste |
| 1 | tsp | Worchestershire sauce |
| 1 | tbsp | Spices (chili powder, cumin, coriander) |
| 2 | ea | Hamburger buns |
Serve with Garlic Onion Slaw.
Prep
Cut the shallots into chunks
Mince the garlic
Cook
Add shallots, garlic, and chilis to a small pan and cook until onions are soft.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, worchestershire sauce, and spices to pan.
Add ¼ cup water to sauce.
Bring to a boil then simmer until sauce reduces to desired consistency and beans are soft.
Warm or toast the buns
Serve over the buns open faced.
