Chard with Pancetta

2 Servings
Qty Unit Ingredient
3 oz Pancetta
1 small Red Onion (155 g whole)
6-8 ea Chard leaves (200 g)
1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  1. Prep
    1. Dice the pancetta
    2. Slice the onion thin
    3. Remove the chard stems
      1. Dice the stems
      2. Cut or tear the leaves into pieces
  2. Cook
    1. Fry the pancetta in a hot oiled pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
    2. Add the onion and cook until soft (1 to 2 minutes)
    3. Add the chard stems and cook until they soften and brown (2 to 4 minutes)
    4. Add the chard leaves and vinegar and cook until the leaves are wilted
