Fig Agrodolce

½ Cup
Qty Unit Ingredient
¼ ea Onion (about ¼ cup thinly sliced)
5 ea Figs
¼ cup Balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Arrowroot powder
  1. Prep
    1. Slice onion into thin strips about one inch long
    2. Dice figs
    3. Add vinegar to figs and set aside to hydrate a bit
  2. Cook
    1. Cook onion in a little oil until soft
    2. Mix arrowroot with the fig-vinegar sauce and add to pan
    3. Cook until it thickens (1 to 2 minutes)
