Moroccan Chard and Chickpeas
| Qty | Unit | Ingredient |
| 2 | cups | Chard (155 g chopped) |
| ½ | cup | Canned diced tomatoes |
| 1 | cup | Chickpeas (195 g) |
| ½ | tbsp | Moroccan spices (coriander, cumin, allspice, cinnamon) |
Prep
Remove the ribs from the chard.
Dice the ribs into small pieces
Tear or cut the leaves into 1 inch pieces
Cook
Add the chard ribs to a hot oiled pan and cook until softened (2 to 3 minutes)
Add the chard leaves and spices and cook until the leaves are wilted.
Add the tomatoes and chickpeas and ¼ cup water
Simmer until chickpeas soften and the sauce thickens
