Characters who have lost some or all of their hearing have this disadvantage. As a Minor Hindrance, it subtracts 2 from all [[skills:notice|Notice]] rolls made to hear, including awaking due to loud noises. A Major Hindrance means the character is deaf. She cannot hear and automatically fails all [[skills:notice|Notice]] rolls that depend on hearing.
