We find a lost paladin.

Six shadow creatures run into the room.

    - UlfTheDane destroys one.
    - WynchellTheAlchemist throws a jar of fire at 4 of them.
    - Demons attack
      - ...
    - WymanTheWarrior drops the one attacking WynchellTheAlchemist.
    - HildThePaladin destroys one
    - AigneisTheDruid hits one, shaking it.
  - Round
    - Demons
      - Shake UlfTheDane
      - ...
    - WymanTheWarrior runs over and stabs one (missing, actually)
    - AigneisTheDruid smacks one with her sling.  Stuns it.
    - HildThePaladin ...
    - UlfTheDane is still shaken
    - WynchellTheAlchemist recovers a bit, and rests.
  - Round
    - WymanTheWarrior hits, but tis but a scratch.
    - AldwynnTheBattlePriest misses
    - HildThePaladin shoots and hits
    - AigneisTheDruid slings at it.  Little damage.
    - Demon attacks AldwynnTheBattlePriest and hits him hard.
    - WynchellTheAlchemist recovers
    - UlfTheDane breaks his sword!  He throws the broken hilt at the demon.
  - Round
    - HildThePaladin shoots the demon, destroying it.

++++ The Candle |
Talking with the lost paladin to determine what happened.

We realize his candle is the The Candle.  We convince him to give it to us (not really hard, he's just not there).

++++ Wandering |
We read the lost paladin's book to get clues.  After 4 hours, we find a passage referring to the lead of the bandits having a bell.

Someone has a vision of the key in a jar in a woodpile; the also see that the key opens a wooden chest containing the book.  Both in the regular realm.

We go looking for the bandit.

++++ Finally, you found it! |
We find a large ornate door at the far side of a large room, up on a raised balcony.

GoldenGuylesRyelnn is there and taunts us with the bell.

    - GoldenGuylesRyelnn shoots at HildThePaladin (misses)
    - Bowmen shoot at us.
    - AldwynnTheBattlePriest misses.
    - HildThePaladin shoots at one, shaking it
    - AigneisTheDruid ...
    - WynchellTheAlchemist boosts HildThePaladin's shooting.
    - UlfTheDane charges one of the stairways leading the the balcony where GoldenGuylesRyelnn is.
    - We hear something large and metallic coming behind us.
  - Round
    - GoldenGuylesRyelnn (joker) shoots HildThePaladin
    - Bowmen shoot WynchellTheAlchemist (wounded)
    - HildThePaladin is still shaken
    - WynchellTheAlchemist confuses some of the bowmen
    - UlfTheDane runs up the stairs and kills one of the bowmen.
    - WymanTheWarrior misses
    - ...

    - GoldenGuylesRyelnn casts a spell at UlfTheDane.  Fighting lowered.
    - ...
    - Bronze warrior attacks WymanTheWarrior
    - Lots of shooting
    - WymanTheWarrior smashes the Bronze Warrior down.  A spirit rises from the body.
    - HildThePaladin takes cover and shoots at GoldenGuylesRyelnn.
    - AigneisTheDruid entangles 3 bowmen with the tapestries.
    - AldwynnTheBattlePriest rebukes the spirit from the bronze warrior.
    - WynchellTheAlchemist throws a dart at GoldenGuylesRyelnn (deflected)
    - UlfTheDane misses, but seems to shake off the lower fighting
  - Round
    - GoldenGuylesRyelnn (joker): Shoots HildThePaladin
    - Bandits - Hit UlfTheDane (wounded)
    - Spirit strikes fear into AldwynnTheBattlePriest, but he is not afraid.  It disappears.
    - AldwynnTheBattlePriest's spell backfires, and he is blinded
    - HildThePaladin shoots BjornBloodyHands (good hit, but he seems unfazed)
    - AigneisTheDruid hits, but little damage.
    - WynchellTheAlchemist drops a smoke bomb and WymanTheWarrior
    - UlfTheDane cuts BjornBloodyHands pretty bad.

    - WynchellTheAlchemist throws a blast at GoldenGuylesRyelnn
    - UlfTheDane misses BjornBloodyHands
    - GoldenGuylesRyelnn teleports in the shadows and shoots
    - BjornBloodyHands misses
    - Spirit attacks AldwynnTheBattlePriest and fatigues him.
    - They shoot WynchellTheAlchemist, wounding him badly.

    - HildThePaladin shoots ...

    - GoldenGuylesRyelnn shoots UlfTheDane, but he shrugs it off.
    - BjornBloodyHands wounds UlfTheDane

    - HildThePaladin tries to cast a spell (fails) and shoots at BjornBloodyHands, dropping him.
    - AigneisTheDruid misses.
    - WynchellTheAlchemist misses (blast).
    - UlfTheDane runs up to GoldenGuylesRyelnn and kills him
    - AldwynnTheBattlePriest tries to break the grapple, but fails.
  - Round
    - AldwynnTheBattlePriest breaks the grapple and attacks (but misses).
    - UlfTheDane runs over and kills a bowman.
    - WynchellTheAlchemist tries to cast a spell, but fails.
    - AigneisTheDruid heals WynchellTheAlchemist a bit
    - HildThePaladin reloads.
