++++ The Gathering |
We gather at the Bar Cordano.

Some local gave MrLarkin some artifacts.  His grandfather had gone inside and grabbed a few things.  They don't go there often, it's cursed.

He has hired 3 cars to get us to the pyramid.  We leave on Monday.  We have the weekend to ourselves.

As we leave the table, we notice that MrLarkin gets pale and shaky.

++++ The Secret |
JacksonElias aka JesseHughes

He thinks MrLarkin and his aide are somehow related to the Thugee, and some sort of fat eating vampires.

Swears us to secrecy.  He is going to introduce us to someone tomorrow afternoon.  We agree to meet just after noon.

++++ Meet the Doctor |
DoctorSanchez is JesseHughes' friend.  He brings us to his office to meet him.

DoctorSanchez lead the local museum.  Or at least is high up in management.

He has tried to get information about the expedition but has been put off.  He suspects that MrLarkin is a simple treasure hunter.

There are no laws against looting.

GarsparFiguroa - Conquistador that wrote a book about the pyramid

TrindadRizo - DoctorSanchez's student. She is getting a related artifact from the storeroom.

They send us out to find TrinidadRizo.

++++ The Missing Student |
We find her body in the storeroom.  Bloody wound on her chest.  Seems very skinny.

CharlesEncharge finds a notebook on the body.  Also finds some weird stick.

We head back to DoctorSanchez's office.

++++ Kiss of Death |
We find JesseHughes stomping out a fire in a wastebasket (outside the office).

"It's a distraction!" says CharlesEncharge.  We rush into the office.

The professor is sitting at his desk.  There is a hunched figure biting or kissing the professor.  The figure turns to us, we see a tail disappear into the professor's mouth.

  - Round
    - We fight the mouth but it bites me.
  - Round
    - BigJohn shoots it
    - I aim
    - CharlesEncharge attacks
    - It tries to push past him.
    - John shoots it dead in the back.

I give ProfessorSanchez first aid.  Something is under his skin, moving.  I induce vomiting and something comes out, wriggling and alive.  I smash it with my gun.

++++ Aftermath |
We send ProfessorSanchez to the hospital with JesseHughes.
We move the student's body upstairs and find that the creature has left.  But it was dead.
