 +He checks it out and recognizes it as a handmade version of one of the models (ForgeLock) he is familiar with.  He casts a spell on himself.  He pulls out some raw EmberStone and tries to interface it with the ForgeLock body.  The ForgeLock's eyes open, and smoke starts coming out of its eyes.  He tries to stop the smoke.  He unhooks his apparatus, and the smoke stops.
