+JeranSteele does some research about the feather.  He figures out that the feather found at the site of the theft of TheAjax it is definitely from a kanku.  He asks for a predator.  They bring some dire wolves.  He goes to the oldest, toughest one.  He casts Awaken on it.  It becomes sentient.
