RyujiHakima decides we will head to StoneSpire and deal with the possible vampire. The LongBarrow town guards report they find no further evidence of vampire victims. GeldarTheBard scouts out the StoneSpire on ShadowfaxThePegasus. He finds a partially ruined keep.

PhineasTristillian scrounges up a few stakes and a vial of holy water. JeranSteele helps BonifaciusHolyfeather heal the wounded and arrange housing. The Mayor of LongBarrow comes and asks RyujiHakima what is happening. He leaves Key (a clark in his employ) to document what has happened. GeldarTheBard talks to SirKelvinHighheart. They discuss our plans.

RyujiHakima sends GeldarTheBard to muster the troops. We discuss where to go (keep, StoneSpire) and what we know about vampires. RyujiHakima decides we will go to the keep.

We arrive at the keep. Surrounded by a cloud of bats. RyujiHakima: “See, dramatic bastards!”

I move across the sunken drawbridge. I check out the keep. I don't see anything, but I smell rot. I move towards the gatehouse. I find a floating body, killed violently. I approach and find another body weighed down with rocks. I call that back to the party and hide in the shadows of the gatehouse.

RyujiHakima moves onto the drawbridge. He sees a piece ornate cloth hanging from the battlements. GeldarTheBard flies over the keep and plays his lute. He can see many bodies under the water (many weighted down with stones). PhineasTristillian recognizes the family emblem of the EldenEmperor on that cloth.

I sneak up to the front door. Stone door, with the outside handle rotted away. There are a couple of other stone doors on either side of the courtyard. I look for a window, but there are only arrow slits. I report back to RyujiHakima.

   1. GeldarTheBard recognizes this as the architecture of TheBrightons (the FirstMen). He flies over the main keep, and sees a massive pile of wood and earth inside the shell of the keep. Oh, and a coffin. And beaten pathways leading to and from it. Just that.
   2. PhineasTristillian moves up, and tells us that the banner is the sigil of the EldenEmperor. He hears and feels scraping on the stones under us. Something dragging in or under the stone. The water appears to be draining.
   3. I grab JeranSteele and ask him to help me get it open.
   4. JeranSteele moves forward
   5. RyujiHakima cuts the head off the loose body and move towards the keep. The stone doors open on their own. He hears a gurgle and one of the bodies pushes off the stone restraining it and floats to the surface. “I tolda you, ita ghouls”
   6. BonifaciusHolyfeather moves forward and sacred flames the ghoul.

   1. GeldarTheBard sprays fire at a ghoul.
   2. PhineasTristillian shoots a ghoul.
   3. I move forward and listen. Then I move to the door and see a figure coming out of the coffin inside “Vampire's out of his coffin!”
   4. JeranSteele moves up with the rest of the group.
   5. RyujiHakima runs up to the vampire. He is holding a scepter in his right hand, a dagger in the other.
   6. BonifaciusHolyfeather casts protection from evil on JeranSteele, and summons a spiritual weapon.
   7. SirKeldenHighheart “Did I mention, there's a girl in the water?” “She's hideous” He heads back and says he will protect the rear.

   1. GeldarTheBard flies over the keep, looking down on RyujiHakima and the vampire. Attacks, but misses. Mocks the vampire's clothes (it actually seems to bother him!).
   2. The castle
      1. Vampire: please excuse me for not being prepared for guests.
      2. Ghouls advance.
      3. Vampire: I'm afraid you've disturbed by previous meals.
   3. PhineasTristillian sees a woman wearing an emerald cloak swimming in the water towards the party. There are several of them. They disappear when they get to PhineasTristillian. He runs to the keep (a couple of ghouls try but fail to claw him). He shoots the vampire. The vampire seems surprised. (Did I offend)
   4. I move forward and prepare to Turn the undead
   5. JeranSteele fights some ghouls in the gatehouse.
      1. RobTheBot attacks the same ghouls.
   6. RyujiHakima attacks the vampire. (Vampire: “Parlee?”) I don't parlee with vampires. (You mean my master?).
      1. I'm sorry, how can I assuage your anger?
      2. R: If you're not the vampire, where is he
      3. I'm not sure you're proper house guest.
      4. R: You're right, I forgot to take my shoes off
   7. BonifaciusHolyfeather misses.
   8. SirKeldenHighheart warns us about the swimming ladies.
   9. I turn 8 of them.

      1. They attack me. One punches me. They seem to be trying to mob me and pull me down, not kill?
      2. They attack all of us.
   3. PhineasTristillian throws a grenade, killing a bunch (but gets caught in the blast).
   4. I kill one, but there are still many.
   5. JeranSteele …
   6. RyujiHakima notices that the ghouls are all former vampire food. He attacks.
   7. BonifaciusHolyfeather turns them, and many of them turn to dust. Misses with spiritual weapon.
   8. SirKeldenHighheart stabs one of the water ladies.

   1. GeldarTheBard burns the vampire and hits it with his spiritual weapon.
   2. The Castle
      1. More ghouls
      2. The vampire shoots a lightning bolt into the water with the scepter. Ouch.
      3. It stabs at RyujiHakima, but GeldarTheBard mocks it and it misses.
      4. The ladies move up to JeranSteele and try to charm him, but he is protected by BonifaciusHolyfeather's spell
      5. Ghouls attack PhineasTristillian, tearing into him.
      6. They attack RyujiHakima (but he put up a shield spell, so only one hit)

   3. PhineasTristillian misty steps to a clear spot and shoots the vampire (disarming shot–but the vampire keeps his grip). As his second shot hits, the vampire shouts “NO!” and turns into a gas.

   5. JeranSteele smacks one of the water ladies with his hammer. She screams and disappears. He misses the other.
      1. Rob attacks the other water lady. Misses
   6. RyujiHakima magic blasts the mist.
   7. BonifaciusHolyfeather steps into the midst of them (one rakes him) and then turns them (20 of them turn to dust). He hits one with his spiritual weapon.
   8. SirKeldenHighheart kills a ghoul.

   3. PhineasTristillian throws a vial of holy water into the mist and shoots it. The mist dissipates and the the scepter and dagger fall to the ground!
