We investigate the room where the Jeran clones were. They seem to have exploded into small balls of slick material. Most of them bounced once and were absorbed by the tower. A few landed on a table and were not absorbed.

The room has a couple of floating man-hole covers (about 1 inch hide), with steam coming from under them.

Jeran checks out the room to the West. A couple of large wooden boxes (cherry and oak–twice as large) with big locks. Another steam vent in the floor. He calls me over. I check over the red cherry box (has lots of strange pictures/writing on it), and don't find any traps. I check the larger box as well. Then I pop the lock and open the chest.

RyujiHakima asks BonifaciusHolyfeather if we should continue. BonifaciusHolyfeather doubts JeranSteele will leave voluntarily. RyujiHakima orders a retreat.

PhineasTristillian checks out the table/desk and finds some weapons inside. He takes them and they growl at him.

JeranSteele heads back to RyujiHakima. He asks if we should shut down the tower first. We will leave.

We return to SevenSpires. We find a good inn (TheNightsFlame) near the tower of LadyEvandra. There is a mosh pit of gnomes (a few talls, but mostly gnomes). There are no rooms, we may end up sleeping at the livery stable next door.

BonifaciusHolyfeather finds a quiet inn nearby that does have rooms.

JeranSteele flys up to check out LadyEvandra's tower (is anyone awake?).

GeldarTheBard joins the band. Once you go gnome, you never roam.

RyujiHakima is looking for someone in a caravan, someone who sold a ?world key?.

The LustFractal is ruling TheOsirans. He has introduced a new magic that drains life from nature.

RyujiHakima offers fail dealing from ClanHakima and their allies. TraderGabriel produces an official writ outlawing ClanHakima and their allies. RyujiHakima returns the money given to him.

GeldarTheBard finds his pants in the bottom of a fish tank. He cleans them magically and picks up ShadowfaxThePegasus.

PhineasTristillian wakes up with teal skin. Can't really clean it off. He is teal now. He is Drax.

I wake, clean up, and go to LadyEvandra's tower for breakfast. Apparently they think I'm a beggar, so I wander off in search of better fare.

BonifaciusHolyfeather heads to the library in the tower.

And there were many gnome jokes. And puns. So many puns. Gnome more!

We eventually make our way to our meeting with LadyEvandra.

The LustFractal currently rules and has allied with the EldenEmpire.

RyujiHakima: Those who claim to rule TheOsirans are false, and the true emperor sleeps. They have declared my clan outlaw. It is not good that the LustFractal has allied with them.

She complains about the prices set by TheOsirans. RyujiHakima recommends trade with MorcanthNation. She may gather the MatronsOfHighTower, but he cannot join because it is telepathic. She asks about our king's will. GeldarTheBard writes into his book. Give us 30 minutes, and KingRhinehart will be available.

She has discussed the fate of TheAjax with the MatronsOfHighTower. They suspect DrakisRavensong (a wizard who uses the raven sign).

GeldarTheBard asks JeranSteele where he got the feather. From a bird man in his home world.

RyujiHakima recommends she trust JeranSteele.

JeranSteele: It could be DrakisRavensong, it could be TheEntropy.

GeldarTheBard burns a strange cube, and KingRhinehart becomes visible and audible.

King: TheOverlord's army is all made of bodies like the forms created by TheAjax.

Matrons: Agree to limited help, but they need to know what to do. We will help each other, but there is no immediate enemy.

RyujiHakima asks if there is a way to communicate with the MatronsOfHighTower (aka CouncilOfEleven), similar to the cubes employed by the Morchanti. They give us something magic.

They offer to send us to one of the RingWell sites (The SinTower in the EldenEmpire–The GreedTower). They give GeldarTheBard runes that allow him to teleport us to HighTower.

We get a teleport device from the MatronsOfHighTower so we can return from the SinTower.

JeranSteele does some research about the feather. He figures out that the feather found at the site of the theft of TheAjax it is definitely from a kanku. He asks for a predator. They bring some dire wolves. He goes to the oldest, toughest one. He casts Awaken on it. It becomes sentient.

Call me Fang.

Bit on the nose. That's a pun, we will be having those.

We shop a little.

We are teleported to the GreedTower. We appear in a large field of green grass. Seems to be in an isolated, rural area. In the center is a massive red tinted tower. Very much like one of the DominionTowers (no seams). The outline of a door briefly flashes on the side of the tower at the base.

GeldarTheBard and I open the door (he has to cast a conjuration spell on it). A wave of orange energy comes out [we get temp hp?].

I sneak in. There is a statue of a small man (gnome) conjuring butterflies. I search around a bit, then go back. We enter together. I am checking a door for traps.

PhineasTristillian turns from teal to red.

I check the door for traps (none) then open the door. Actually it was trapped (a couple of us sink ankle deep into the stone).

PhineasTristillian climbs on my back and tries to open the door. He hops off and then gets trapped. RyujiHakima trys to break the floor around my ankles. He succeeds. JeranSteele uses his tricorder. It resets (too much magic). We are eventually freed with minor injuries.

I find another door in a room with 9 different colored candles. The handle can move in different directions. I play with it and get hit with a beam of light. I wait for the magic users to figure it out.

Meanwhile, PhineasTristillian tries the ankle biter door again (using his “master key”–ok, rifle). “Knock, Knock” and shoots the handle of the door. Blows a hole in the door, and it pops out about 2 inches. He pushes it open with the barrel. The room beyond has 10 tiny elf statues, evenly spaced.

RyujiHakima cuts PhineasTristillian free.

JeranSteele enters the room of the tiny elves. Con Save. He takes magical damages. He attacks a statue and destroys it–it explodes into a slick substance. He now has resistance against grappling.

Geldar steps into one of the circles (did I mention those before?). “Where would you like to go” To the key of the GreedTower. Teleports to a natural cavern with a bone mace floating in a yellow aura. He grabs the DragonFemurMace.

We all appear outside the tower. The tower begins to shake and descend underground.

We teleport back to HighTower.
